Women say one thing, but mean another

This probably sounds really cliche, but it's so damn true. Even as a woman, I can truly admit that at times I say one thing but mean another. For example, I tell my parents how smart they are all the time, when in fact we all know they are idiots. Whenever my lover talks to another girl, I reassure him that I'm not jealous, but I'm actually boiling inside. This whole cliche is understandable, it keeps everyone happy and lowers the level of drama in the house, but is it really acceptable when it comes picking the perfect man.

From the day we all graduated from school and enter the real world, we created a recipe of what we want in a man. A lot of my girlfriends all have the same ingredients (tall, handsome, charming, career-driven, rich, smart, sensitive, understanding, and funny) to create the perfect batch of cupcakes. Unfortunately, they all end up with everything opposite of what they wanted: short, ugly, disgusting, career that makes a dollar a day, stupid, mean, oblivious, and boring. I don't know whether to feel happy or lied to so I took the initiative to ask some of my girlfriends, "why go for something that is not your cup of tea?"

The usual response is: "I can't find Mr. right, so might as well get whatever I can get." I felt sympathetic for them, juggling career, life, and trying to find the perfect man isn't an easy thing to do. I often wonder why it's so hard for them to find the qualities that they were looking for in the beginning, practically all my male friends have these qualities that are way better than the guys my friends were dating. This weird concept of settling plaques me because I don't believe in settling. I believe in "true love," and I know it shouldn't be that hard to find. Since this is only a one-sided story I decided to get some perspective from the other side.

I asked a couple of Mr. Rights and Mr. Perfect aka: "the proper ingredients," as to what they want in a girl. They all have the similar requirements: she must be cute and nice. There are other requirements, but cute and nice are the most sought after. I was like "you got to be kidding me, those type of girls are all around you," then again they're not. Apparently, these guys have made the initiative to talk to those girls with the written recipes, but were sadly rejected from the cupcake batch. I find it strange that Mr. Right and Mr. Perfect could be so harshly rejected whereas Mr. ugly and Mr. disgusting were promptly accepted. This really doesn't make sense, all this time I thought women wanted prince charming.

Does anyone out there wanna comment on this problem. As of now, I do not sympathize with any ladies out there claiming that they can't find Prince Charming, bull shiet

What is a Successful Woman?

My girlfriends and I usually complain that "chivalry is dead," but Dave Chappelle would counteract our argument with "chivalry is dead because women killed it." I have to agree, we destroy every gentle side of a man. We not only killed it, we tortured it, pee on it, pour gasoline on it, and light it up on fire. Back in the good old days, women were not allowed to vote, run business, dominate a conversation, or anything that a men were allowed to do. Womans right find this to be outrageous, grew a penis, and stand up for suppressed women everywhere. They gave us freedom by stomping on the iron fists that kept us on the ground for centuries. Our gender no longer hinder our ability to be the best that we can be. However, would the breath of power and freedom hinder our ability to find true love?

I always find it attractive for a woman to be dominant, powerful, and have a great career. Then again I always notice that these are the women without a good man. These are usually the type of woman who comes home from work, pours a glass of wine, and drink herself to sleep. She often shed tears and wonders if life is worth living if there's no one to come home to. I have seen men compliment these successful career women, but if asked if they would marry one, they would sneer with disdain. It's a harsh reality, a woman with the iron fist are often score by men in secrecy. Now the main question is, can a woman still be consider powerful if she can't get a single man to want her? After all the basic biology of a woman is to bore a child, and if a woman can't obtain a man wouldn't that put her at a disadvantage.

Another type of attractive women can be found in asian drama. The beautiful, conservative women who knows how to make a man look good. She is the traditional housewife with no career behind her back, she has great manners, extremely elegant, and a smile that can get men to go to war for her. She has all these gentlemen lined up, eagerly waiting with a ring in their hands. Unfortunately, she can not function without a man, if she gets dumped by her husband, she will have no income unless she gets a good amount from child support. So, this leaves me with a vexing question, this type of woman has a major advantage in producing more kids and being able to come home to a happy family, but is she truly a successful woman despite not having a career?

In this century it's really difficult to define girl power. If the woman is too career driven, she would lose out on obtaining a successful husband, resulting in shame. If the woman is successful in marriage and family, she will lose out on her career and independence. It's a total dilemma, we're damned if we do and damned if we don't. So what is consider to be a successful or a powerful woman? Well the answer is simple, a successful woman is someone who has her foot between the past and the present. She will have to be both a career woman and a woman who knows how to please a man. She is a woman who lives the role of the past: docile, elegant, charming, and does not care to compete with a man. She is also the woman who lives for the present: strong, dominating, career woman, who can make an income or living successfully without a man. Her smile alone can lead other men to do her bidding, but if no one is around she can do her own bidding.

Therefore, a woman's power lies in her smile, but her true strength is hidden inside, that my friend is a successful woman.

Guys Night Out

It's Tuesday and I'm wondering what all the excitement is about. My older brothers (guy friends that I will never date, even if they were the last guy on the earth, and I'm pretty sure they think the same way about me) were running around and giggling like little school girls. They were whispering in each others ears and pushing buttons on their little iphones. This strange girl-like behavior is spiking up my curiosity, could it be that the guys have gotten laid by ten girls and are sharing their little secrets. I wasted no time and snuck my way towards them so I can quietly eve drop on their conversations, wondering if it was a Michelle or a Linda that they hooked up with. Well all the excitement was none other than two dollars Taco at New Orleans Rum House.
Being the only girl in the house, I never understood why guys are so excited about greesy food. Guys are like a whole different species to me, they are very strange, and there isn't a book out there that can accurately define them. Guys are like cancer, you can never find a cure for them and you can never fully understand them to the point where you can place logic next to them and say it fits like a missing puzzle piece. I on the other hand find this to be intriguing, so I decided to do some undercover detective work and join their guys night out.
We made our way to the restaurant, but had to wait fifteen minutes to be seated. Instead of waiting by having a normal conversation inside the restaurant like girls would do, the guys order beer and drank them outside with cigarettes. Afterwards, we went back in and sat down in our table and order more beers. The guys begin gossiping about other guys and how hot other guys are, and how so and so is dating or shouldn't be dating. The most interesting thing is their adorable girly mannerism, whispering in each others ears, and giggling non-stop. Then ordering more beers, gosh these boys can really drink. Some went so far as to jumping and screaming out of nowhere because so and so made a three pointer. I can feel one of their hair stand up with anticipation because so and so was dribbling the basket ball on tv.
Our appetizers came, which is tortilla chips drizzled in melted cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, sliced chicken, olives, and etc. I was too hungry to realize that I will be eating my way to high cholesterol and that I will be flying back to California in less than a week. We were eating and talking about the strangest stuff and laughing the night away. Then another woman enter into the scene, and I thought it would be interesting to see how this will change the dynamics of the guys night out. The guys instantly change from giggling little monsters to mature cultural gentlemens. They started talking about Europe, asia, traveling, exotic foods, and etc to impress the lady. I almost burst out laughing from their sudden shifts from boys to men. A couple hours ago, they were farting in the house and destroying the ozone layer.
I decided to go home early because of low alcohol tolerance, while my bros just party the night away. Hours later they came back, drunk and wasted, and eating like animals with a comedian on the television blabbing about how weird girls are. They laughed as the the comedian talks about race and politics, you know the "N" word that occurs after the "F' word. As I shook my head and smile at their adorable, boyish antiques, I couldn't help but wonder what the fuck happen to their cultural gentlemen side? Did they just shit on it after the girl left? And omg my brother's boxer is showing and it''s white!!!

In some ways guys are like girls, they gossip insanely and crazily about weird stuff, converse about absolutely nothing, talk about others of the same sex, and giggle like little school girl that just experience her first period. I'm sure if Taylor Lautner were to walk in the room, I would instantly switch from weird, clueless girl to a cultural well-defined woman. I guess in order to define guys, to understand what or why the hell they do the things they do, we must first understand and define ourselves. After all, scientist are approaching the cure for cancer through understanding the human bodies.

Happy Late Valentines and Chinese New years

Hello everybody and yes I know I'm late on posting about Valentines day and New Years day, but if you think about it, I live in the East Coast which is three hours ahead of the West Coast. So since I'm blogging at around two AM, it's actually 11 pm in the west, so technically I'm not late. Anyways, I'm alone for Valentines day, which sucks because I totally regret for not spending money on those thousand dollar ticket to fly over to New Orleans to see him. Instead I'm stuck in Boston, pounding myself. Then again I decided to entertain the night away by reading about guys. Guys are actually very complex creatures. I understand that some of you female readers out there will think otherwise, but really if we look pass their constant amazement at score board of the NFL game and checking out another girl while also denying it, you will find a very deep, loving, philosophical creature that just want to fall in love. I mean at first I was skeptical because I have this notion that all guys are out there to spread their seed, but if you have a meaningful convo with a player (clearly related to you so he wouldn't hit on you), you will be surprise to find that all he wants is that special somebody. No wonder you get these rich dudes who can get whatever girls they want, end up in the Millionaire Match Maker club to get themselves that special somebody. Even though guys have explained this logically to me about a dozen times, I still can't get this idea off my mind that guys just want sex. When you look at all those reality tv shows, trash tv, or other entertainment stuff, it's usually the girls that get hurt while the guy is off with someone else. The evidence is all around us, but still I'm trying my best to accept the fact that love do exist and guys will risk their biological and social advantages to obtain true love. Sigh, still hard to believe especially after the whole Tiger Wood incident.

There is this one really special song called I Never Knew I needed by Neyo. Everytime I listen to this song, I get this stream of emotions rushing through my body. It's the most soulful R&B song I have ever heard. To me it sends this message of "I know I'm not the wealthy guy who drives the ferari, but I know for sure that I am madly in love with you and will be there for you no matter what happens." The song brings this Nostalgic feeling of being in New Orleans with my fiance and ironically, the music video took place in New Orleans. Hmm, you know what I just figure out to be the most ironic thing, even though New Orlean is known for hooking up, drinking, drugs, basically the single life, I never knew I would find my soul mate there. It's like the one most loving, purest thing is in the center of everything that is chaotic. If only I could turn back time and book that ticket to New Orleans so I can experience the beautiful Southern weather with the love of my life.

Hey Happy Chinese New year, it's time to light those incense on fire so we can worship this big fat happy dude. May luck, joy, happiness, health, and everything positive happen in everyone's lives.

Hey sweetheart, Happy Late Valentines day and Chinese New Years. I love you with all my heart. I know sometimes I could be unbearable, but just remember I love you and will die for you no matter what.

Can't Eat What Guys eat every day

Have any of you girls wonder why when a guy step out of the bathroom, it always stink like hell. Also, whenever they forget to flush, we don't just see a cute little turd, hell no, we see something the size of the Hulk. We always think that "oh well it's probably a guy thing," but no You are wrong, it's beyond a guy's thing. As a matter of fact, God has nothing to with it, all he can do is shake his head and sigh.

As girls we have to watch our figure, we have to remain a size zero or other girls will make fun of us. So we eat nothing but salads, vegatables, fruits, and fish. We basically eat things that guys would not be caught dead eating. If a guy eats what we eat, they will be called a pussy, so they have to man up and eat all thse junk food.

During my stay in New Orleans, I was so tempted to eat all those yummy greasy junk food. I mean think about it, I'm in a house filled with guys, they don't care about my figure. So I was in heaven for the past month, eating nothing but hamburger, steak, french fries, buritos, philly cheese steak (the ones that leave a heavy grease on the bottom of the bag), etc. As the girly girl I am, I usually drink orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, or anything healthy, but with my man and the boys in New Orleans, I ended up drinking Diet coke every day. I have never drank that much soda in my life. I was living in food fantasy heaven, I was what every girl want to do, fucken pig out without a care in the world. Then tonight something shitty had to happen.
I went to the bathroom to crap, but the poo was too big to come out. It was like pregnancy except the baby was trying to get out through your butt hole. Seriously, I don't know how guys let out all that crap out of the butt. I was in tears, but that's not the worse part. Surrounding the bathroom are thin walls separating me and my fiance, and the ceiling separating me and my fiance's roommate. Basically this is what the situation looks like:

So I just gave up and pull my shiet back in my body and hope that I can shiet the next morning.
I know in the back of my head I was like I will never eat what Brandon eats every day. Knowing me, I will probably be back on the guy's diet in no time.

I wonder how much that guy from Man versus food poos????
